Organizing Existing Recipes

Recipe Box offers the ability to organize all those scraps of paper a with recipe on it. Index the one or two favored recipes in the 300 page cookbook.

Catalog recipes by choosing Recipes, Add New Recipe, from main tabs. Enter the Recipe Name, Serving and any Category you may desire. Use the Description field for the location of the recipe. Ingredient and Preparation information is not required.

Some examples of using the Description field for the recipe location are:

• Big red cookbook, page 128
• Cooking with Less Salt page 49
• Recipe folder marked : Desserts
• 3 ring Notebook, section marked Chinese

As an extra bonus, you can use the Preparation window to add personal notes and recipe alterations. Also, major Ingredients may be specified in the Ingredients window to be used when generating a Shopping List or to Search for.

Notice a Recipe can be saved without entering any information on Ingredients or Preparation.

Use category fields to aid in locating recipes quickly.

You may now save this recipe as part of Recipe Box.
